A series of 4 Friday evenings, 7.30pm – 9pm (GMT)

‘Lord, I am here, pausing in the middle of the work that is yet to do.’

(From the Eata liturgy, Celtic Daily Prayer.)

As we enter Celtic Advent this four-week course offers an opportunity to pause and slow down as we journey towards celebrating Christ’s birth. Over the four weeks we will be reflecting upon the experience of ‘Selah’, of Pause in our daily lives. Each week there will be an invitation to practice meditation exercises with options to explore these creatively. Selah appears in the psalms and whilst its meaning is something of an enigma it holds a sense of pause, of stepping back from our activity so that we might meet with God.
