‘What does the Northumbria Community look like?’ is often a difficult question to answer. We’re deliberately not overly structured, we try not to have policies and tend to avoid strategies. It’s fair to say that the Community looks like the way in which Companions and Friends each live out the Rule of Life in their own context. This means that there’s a lot of diversity, but hopefully there’s a ‘family’ resemblance too.
These pages offer some signposts to ways in which the Community is community, alone and together, around the world. You can also find a link to Roy Searle’s blog where he reflects on the things of Community and culture, and also some links to other people, communities and organisations we’re either working with, have a similar heart to, or just think you’ll find interesting.
