Celtic Rune of Hospitality
I saw a stranger yestere’en.
I put food in the eating place,
drink in the drinking place,
music in the listening place,
and in the sacred name of the Triune
He blessed myself and my house,
my cattle and my dear ones,
and the lark said in her song
often, often, often,
goes Christ in the stranger’s guise.
Following the celebration of St. Brigid, known for her welcome to all, we will explore together what a hospitality of home and a hospitality of heart might like look in our own lives. We will reflect on Biblical hospitality and share out of our own experiences.
