Psalm 40:5,11,13 You have multiplied, O Lord my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts towards us; none can compare with you. Were I to proclaim and tell of them, they would be more than can be counted. 11 Do not, O Lord, withhold your mercy from me; let your steadfast love and your faithfulness keep me safe for ever. 13 Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me; O Lord, make haste to help me.

2 Samuel 23:2-4 The spirit of the Lord speaks through me, his word is upon my tongue. 3 The God of Israel has spoken, the Rock of Israel has said to me: One who rules over people justly, ruling in the fear of God, 4 is like the light of morning, like the sun rising on a cloudless morning, gleaming from the rain on the grassy land.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.
