Lorna Fisher

Many will already have heard the very sad news that Lorna Fisher, Community Companion and a dearly loved friend to so many of us, died suddenly at her home in Berwick on New Year’s Eve.

Lorna in sitting room ‘Columba’ at Hetton

The funeral will take place on Monday 22 January (apparently the long delay is due to local council rules re burials) and will be in two parts.  The first will be the Committal at Tweedmouth Cemetery at 11.00am.Please note that this will be a private Committal.

The second part will be a Service of Thanksgiving to be held in the Salvation Army hall beginning at12.30pm. The address of the church is 53 Church Street, Berwick-upon-Tweed TD15 1EE. The doors will be open to receive people from 11.45 for quiet reflection. Following the service refreshments will be served.

Many thanks

Trevor

Oh, that is very sad news indeed. Lorna was a lovely lady, very special. I have many fond memories of Hetton when she was there.

So sorry to hear about Lornas death as we were due to pass through Berwick tomorrow and wanted to visit her She and George were special blessings to us when we attended Lebanon Bible college and we laughed a lot with them
We are glad too that she is now with the Lord who she adored
