13-16   Mon—Thur       LISTENING TO THE HEARTBEAT OF GOD:   Individually Guided Retreat       £165
In the Gospel of John, we find the Beloved Disciple at the Last Supper, leaning against Jesus, lying on his breast, reclining… presumably he was near enough to hear his heartbeat, if he chose to listen. This is a time to receive individual support and guidance as you to draw near to Christ as his Beloved One.

17-19 Fri—Sun     BE STILL AND KNOW                 £100
An opportunity to seek God through quiet personal reflection around the rhythm of the day, giving time and space for stillness with self and God. This retreat does not include daily input, but an introductory session and access to resources for personal use are provided.

20-23   Mon—Thur     SEEKING GOD AT THE CROSSROADS:
An Individually Guided Retreat             £165
This is what the LORD says, "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.”’ ~Jeremiah 6:16
A chance to reflect on life-transitions with someone who will listen with you to God’s work at the crossroads. You may also, of course, choose to explore other themes with your retreat guide.

24-26 Fri—Sun   HOUSE CLOSED

27-30 Mon—Thur     THE WAY OF THE DESERT       £165
Come and explore the history and wisdom of the Desert Fathers and Mothers, their relevance for today, and the spirituality of desert places. The Desert Monastic tradition was a great inspiration for the Celtic Church and remains foundational for the Northumbria Community today.

Newsflash

Our good friends and Community Companions Martin and Bekah Neil have been intimately involved in a project to record the Wagogo people in Africa, in order to provide wells in their villages. Trust me, you need to buy this CD and DVD set. It may well change your life, and it will certainly change theirs... You can order it from our Resources area.
