'The Garden: A stage for story and song.

Cornwall, February 2007. I walk from coast to coast. For Celtic saints a country to pass through in order to reach the continent; for me a region to find new stories and new songs.

The Garden starts in the ancient melancholy of Tintagel's poetry garden, a story-telling place, and in the joyful relevance of the Eden Project. With the troubadour's stories, fantasy and fiction encourage me to face reality. I reflect on what is true and what is twisted in both the tales of King Arthur and in my own memory of the past, even if it exposes the deep, dark drama of our bigger histories.

A journey follows: Krakov, Amsterdam, Tenerife...I wonder who will greet me and be my fellow traveller enountering excitement and peace, pain and anxiety even; and experience revealing quiet conversations of the heart.
