Home Finding Nether Springs

Here's a map showing the location of Nether Springs at Acton Home Farm, the Mother House of the Northumbria Community, which you can use to plan your route.  Use the Zoom control  to help you find your way.  You can also use the 'Satellite' view to see an aerial photograph - some of the very small lanes giving access to Nether Springs do not appear on the Google map.

But these directions will get you here:

From the North
Follow the A1 South of Alnwick and take the first turning to Felton. After 100 yards, turn left down Acton Lane – signposted to Acton and Old Felton. Follow Acton Lane for about a mile until you reach a fork in the road. The road to the left is a private road to Acton House only. Take the road/track to the right, past Acton Hall Cottage, and follow it to the end where you will reach a left turn to Acton Home Farm. Follow the farm track to Acton Home Farm for about ¼ of a mile until you reach woodland on the right. Nether Springs is on your left and the car park is just to the left of you, in front of the house. For guests with limited mobility, follow the track to the left of the house where there is a parking space for you.
