Simon Airey is a professional storyteller, Anglican priest, and longstanding companion of the Northumbria Community. Many times he has told the epic tale of the Gospel coming to Northumberland in the 7th Century and spreading to around ¾ of England from there. This is a chance to listen to the story and reflect upon some of the lead characters as well. There will be a chance to visit two or three of the sacred places in the story. For any interested in storytelling there’ll also be an opportunity to try your hand or improve your skill.
