30th September
This morning I pulled back the curtains and was greeted with one of those misty, autumnal days. The sharp contrasting colours of autumn, the hedgerows abounding in fruitfulness and it has been a delight to share with fellow leaders who from many different church backgrounds came broken and bruised but with a real appetite for God and an openness to sit and receive. It never ceases to amaze me how the Community’s story has impacted so many. As one by one people shared with me their stories and the significance of the Community and its spirituality in their faith journey. Good people, a good 36 hours and now I am off to Peterborough to meet my beloved. Together we travel to Germany. Auf Wiedersehen, Pet!
