Suddenly it's only a few days away! We'll be meeting over the weekend of 7th and 8th July. Here's the schedule as it stands presently: 9:45 am - Coffee and refreshments 10:00 am Welcome - Morning office 10:45 am -11:45 am Roy Searle - Story of the Northumbria Community, history and origins - the story so far! 11:45 am - 11:55 am Break 11:55 am - 12:45 pm What does this mean for the Northumbria Community in the USA ? An exploration of what it means to build a dispersed community in the context of USA. 12:45 pm - 1:45 pm Lunchbreak on site 1:45 pm - 3:00 pm - Discussion Panel and Q & A - a chance to hear from a number of people in the USA who have been inspired by the community. How it shapes our lives today.. 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Workshops/breakouts: 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm Closing time - collective time together- creative use of the Office Sat eve- 7-9 pm Sunday morning is very informal, but there will be time to meet with some of the team from UK to share Morning Office and chat together from 10am on Sunday. The event will be held at the Source Community's space...the Fallout Urban Art Center. Some directions are here.
