Readings for Day 11 May 11 Psalm 37:8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret--it leads only to evil. Proverbs 10:17–19 He who heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray. 18 He who conceals his hatred has lying lips, and whoever spreads slander is a fool. 19 When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise. James 1:19–20 My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.
