A brief history of everything.
All kinds of stuff to read, listen to, download... its a treasure store!

Help yourself...

We thought it would be a good idea to put up an Archive page as we rebuilt the site, where we can leave all kinds of interesting stuff lying around for you to pick up if you want it!

This page will grow as we find more stuff to put here - who knows, we might even get around to organising it a bit, and tidying it up now and then.

For now, it's likely to be a bit of a muddle, but that's the way we like it. You're welcome to anything that takes your fancy.

Please be patient if something which appears to be 'available' doesn't have a link to get at it.... we're still building this page, and will get to it as quickly as we can. In the meantime, email us and let us know what it is you are wanting!

We have lots of old editions of Caim, our quarterly (or thereabouts) newsletter available for download here. They're in pdf format, you'll need Acrobat Reader.

If you don't have Acrobat Reader, which you'll need for most of the documents which might eventually find their way here, then you can get it here. (It's a fairly big 6Mb download. Go and put the kettle on).
We've put some music tracks from the various Community CD's here for you to listen to and download. You can buy the CD's from Cloisters Buy from Renovare if you're in the USA. If you're travelling to Nether Springs, here's some directions which will help you to find us. The house is in a remote spot, deep in rural north Northumberland,so this makes it much easier to find! The sign to 'Hetton Hall' at the road end. If you've got this far without the directions, you've done very well indeed!
A little while ago, we put together a Powerpoint presentation about the Community for an event where we had to get the message across in 7 minutes or so! The presentation is here - but be warned; it is an extremely large download of about 27 Mb even when zipped. So if you have broadband, then go ahead...
It has some music files embedded here and there, so after you've opened it up run it full screen by pressing F5. I've included the script in the zipped download as a Word doc, so you can even give the presentation to yourself!

We have several shoe-boxes full of old photographs, and so as we get time to scan them, we'll post them all here. If you spot yourself in one of them, do please drop us a line!
We have a page of links to various websites, which might be of interest to anyone who finds the Northumbria Community site interesting! I know that the 'Archive' page is not the most obvious page to find it, but here it is anyway...
This is completely off-topic, and doesn't really belong here at all, but... since you're reading this page, that means you're connected to the internet, and if you're connected to the internet, then you need to have a basic understanding of computer security issues - which many people don't! So I'm including some information about internet security here. I like to think of it as community service.
Can't find any other digital detritus lying around just now, but when I do, I'll be sure to leave it here... keep dropping back here to see what turns up.
