Centre for Contemporary Christianity in Ireland
This is a great site for those wanting to think through some of the issues facing Northern Ireland at this time. Their site says: "the Centre seeks to provide informed, credible and practical comment and analysis, rooted in biblical reflection and theological thought, on contemporary matters of broad public concern in Ireland. We're aiming to engage Christian minds with issues in the public square, to inject new perspectives and provoke discussion"

International Justice Mission
The International Justice Mission (IJM) is a human rights organisation that investigates violations of national law and provides legal services to victims. Its Executive Director in the UK is a Friend in Northumbria Community.

Ferrar House, Little Gidding
Ferrar House offers quiet days and accommodation in Little Gidding, Cambridgeshire, and is run by Community Friends Tony & Judith Hodgson.
Little Gidding is also famous for the visit, in 1936, of the poet T. S. Eliot, who published "Little Gidding" as the conclusion of his "Four Quartets" in 1942!

Northern Cross Pilgrims
"Northern Cross is the ecumenical Easter pilgrimage - or walking retreat - to Holy Island.  Some Northumbria Community folk come along to our Easter Vigil service depending on what is happening with the NC Easter Workshop, and many of our pilgrim groups make extensive use of Celtic Daily Prayer."

Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Lindisfarne Scriptorium
Lindisfarne Scriptorium aims to offer an artform which draws the viewer into an experience of prayer, meditation and blessing and to inspire others to appreciate and experiment with illumination and calligraphy. It is run by a companion of the Northumbria Community on the Island of Lindisfarne.

Othona Community

The Taize Community
Taize is in Burgundy in France, and the community there founded by Brother Roger after the Second World War, bridging the gap between Protestants and Catholics, has had a profound effect on many Christians worldwide, especially through Taize music and worship.
